A Toast to Legacy: Sub-Zero and Wolf's 70th Anniversary
November 12, 2015 – In 1945, Westye F. Bakke started a company that pioneered Built-In and Integrated Refrigeration. Seventy years later, Sub-Zero and Wolf have become global brands that set the standards of food and wine preservation, residential cooking, and kitchen design to a seamless perfection.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, Sub-Zero and Wolf, with their partner architects and designers, came together for a remarkable evening of wine appreciation at the newest showroom in Twenty-four Seven McKinley, Taguig. Five excellent wines, the Nicolas Feuillatte Brut blanc de Blanc, Josseph Drouhin - Puligny-Montrachet, Chateau Palmer - Alter Ego, Clarendelle by Haut-Brion Rose, and Clarendelle by Haut-Brion Amberwine were highlighted during the program, and were enjoyed with tasteful cocktails by Chef Cyrille Soenen of Brasserie CiÇou and Impressions Restaurant. Sommeliers from Antique Wine Company (AWC) Philippines talked about the rich heritage of each wine, which perfectly complemented Sub-Zero and Wolf’s own legacy.
With the extraordinary array of wines paired with delicious food and excellent company, it was a night that sparkled with laughter and great conversation — the perfect way to celebrate Sub-Zero and Wolf’s 70th year!
